Located in San Diego's Gaslamp South, Eyes on Fifth is dedicated to
helping each customer find unique, fashion-forward eyewear and
sunglasses.Our large stock of frames includes cutting- edge styles from all
over the world, as well as those name brands you have come to recognize
as providing lasting quality in fashion optics. Although you may have a hard
time choosing from such a wide variety of frames, Phil and David are
experts in choosing exactly the right frame for your facial features and your
lifestyle.
A couple of years ago, I walked into the shop thinking the same as everyone else...that I break or lose my sunglasses all the time and would never spend more than $30. After about 20 minutes of searching and education from the staff (particularly on how bad cheap lenses are for my eyes!), I tried on a pair that instantly relaxed my eyes when I looked up into the San Diego sky (I normally strain due to light sensitivity so I felt a profound difference in the tension instantly). The polarized lenses practically gave me HD vision and were a blast to show off to other people. I think I've had about 30 people try them on and you get the same effect as when someone sees HD television for the same time!
So, that's half the good news. The best news is that I walked in today to ask about a small wearing point on one of my lenses. Without question, I was handed a brand new pair and reminded that my shades had a lifetime guarantee! Bottom line, you get what you pay for and Eyes on Fifth has exceeded my expectation with a solid backup to their products. Worth every penny.

David and Phil have even been known to hand-make frames for his discerning, hard-to-please customers.
